Coeur de Chypre

In "Blue Still Life", objects, fruits, and flowers blend into one another. Created for the "P(art)fum" exhibition, this painting is my interpretation of *Divine*, the iconic fragrance from the DIVINE brand. I experienced this chypre fragrance as a feminine presence—elegant and mysterious, luminous yet tinged with shadows. From this sensation emerged an intense palette of fuchsia, magenta, crimson, and violet, blended with mossy greens and gold. I painted a “Heart of Cyprus,” where large, open-hearted flowers soar in a free and organic movement, giving form to the intensity and depth of the fragrance.
